No one is sure what causes gamma-ray bursts. Favored possibilities include the collision of two neutron stars or a sort of super-supernova that occurs when extremely massive stars explode. One thing is certain: gamma-ray bursts happen in galaxies far, far away -- so far away that the distances are called "cosmological," beyond ordinary comprehension.

Think about this: When you look up at the night sky, you are looking at the ultimate history book – one that goes back to the very beginning of what we call time. And each star is a chapter in the book. You are not really seeing the stars as they are now. You are looking at stars as they used to be when their light left them long ago. And the deeper we peer into space, the farther back in time we are looking. In fact, light from the galaxies farthest away is billions of years old.
"Gamma-ray bursts are so bright we can see them from billions of light years away, which means they occurred billions of years ago, and we see them as they looked then," says Charles Meegan of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. "They can help us look back in time and teach us something about the conditions in the early universe. In gamma-ray bursts, we may be seeing the first generation of stars, from the earliest galaxies created after the Big Bang."

i swear this was such as adrenaline pumpimg match...only coz the goals were soo smooth and equally deserving..and watching it at chimes...made it all the more nicer...since i was surrounded by actual germans...all dressed up...almost like they expected a win..haha..while the portugese were held up inside larry's bar...where they , claD in their reds and green had their eyes to the screen too..i managed to watch it with reubie..who was a dear as usual to drive me to chimes...thiugh it was bloody near my hse..and the worst part was...he was a die hard portugal fan..and i was on the german side..haha..so i felt pretty bad...each time..germany scored...since.t.he poor guy was in near...tears..sia.la..unfair..universe..oh well...germany..has definetly got game...but they jus took time to show it..so yeh...alas guther'...
heyy..lets talk euro...germany..and how they lost to croatia 2-1..sia..lawell i gotta admit croatia is pretty good this year...1stly they had the unbelievable win against..the brits..and i 'm sure the brits..still ain't over the fact that they din qulify...but winning germany..sia la..this was the 1st germany maatch i manged to catch...and they lost it...but only thanks to jalal...for covering for me..while reub his fwens and i managed to spend the whole night out...since i caught e match as gotham...nice place i gotta admit..and reubie..was nice enough to give me his lime-vodka..since he was driving...responsible lad...waaa...croatiaa...scored 2 goals..in the 1st dunno 50 min i think...and luckily podolski...scored one near the last 10 min..hahha..i was estactic...but still..but still...i guess we all knew..it was a no win...anyways...a fight broke out at the club..i'm guessing over girls..(it usually is)...but reub din let me stay to watch it..so we left...to watch the match...at the outside of e arena...and eventually went back...not like the score changed or anything..haiz...but place was clam again..with blaring...hip hop..or yea..and the kinky dance something..haha..i burst out laughing at the nearly naked jameican dude..HAHHA...and we leapaked somemore..till...aus guy begged reub..to take it solo on the dance floor...we all did..haha..yeh..he did..i swere...i could have seen smoke rising from the floor..it was that good...whow..aft which..we walked back..and dropped off aus guy..at pasir ris...got lost at seng kang...and finally found yishun to drop of spore dude...hahha,i can't remember names...and eventually...reub..drove me all the way back to lavender...thx!...and i crept home...4 plus..and knocked off!...good luck to germany..!

my other obsevation...cjc ics night had more plp watching it as compared to vjc ics night..despite the long awaited follow up dances of last yr's vvip boys...and all..
